Birth Consultation Package

This is for families planning to deliver without a doula. It will include 2 prenatal visits (2 hours each) to help educate and prepare you for your labor and birth.

The First Prenatal Visit: we will discuss any thoughts or concerns you have about your pregnancy. Together we will create a birth plan by discussing pain coping practices, comfort measure, medication preferences, and how to advocate for yourself during labor. I will let you know your options so that you can make the best informed decisions to help you maintain your desires for your labor and birth.

The Second Prenatal Visit: we will discuss any new concerns or questions you may have and review your birth plan. We will cover signs of labor, how to time contractions, when to go to the hospital, what to expect in the postpartum period, basic breastfeeding tips and newborn care.

When I started looking for a doula, I asked everyone I knew and Carole’s name kept popping up. My labor was tough and long and Carole was with me every step of the way. I don’t know what I would have done without her. I really wanted a natural birth and would not have been able to have that without Carole’s support and experience. She’s a “labor-whisperer”. She was so nurturing and kept the whole room calm. She was great with all of the nurses and doctors. She’s an excellent doula and a wonderful person.
